The thread itself is also optimized for the purpose of pulling. In order to facilitate screw driving all pull-screws possess a Torx TX-20 head. It is possible to use either a manual TX-20 screwdriver (best with a T-shaped handle) or an electric screwdriver with a TX-20 bit. The use of lubricant such as cutting oil etc. facilitates driving the screws in the keyway.
