The legendary Sputnik, a highly specialized tool for the opening and decoding of almost all profile cylinders with standard pin sets. A wide variety of existing keyway designs can be seen in our bump key section. This tool is in high demand in special units of police and other governmental organisations.

Hereafter, we present you a short introduction to the functioning of this delicate tool. An especially prepared adapter allows aligning the cylinder pins one by one. Experienced users can unlock the cylinder without causing any damage and at the same time decode the corresponding locking code (i.e. depths of cuts of the corresponding key). The decoded depths allow the creation of a working key.

The tool is available for different key way designs and can also be produced for 6-pin cylinders.
